last sunday, there was a paddle of sweaty lgbts in central.most of them youngies. mostly TEENS!
most of them gays, only a few were carpet munchers.until of course filguys - our org of lesbian ofws here - came.
at first, i was a bit doubdtful. not because i doubted idaho and its essence. but simply because i had issues with some of the people behind idaho hk.until a friend and i talked.
maybe, there are just idiosyncracies that a certain group has. they act on a decision simply because they just want to.
not for any malicious intent.
and with that simple knowldge, i let go of my kachuvahan with some of those who were there.
they did not matter anymore. solidarity is a tough nut to crack and it is the beauty of it that we do not dare impose on others as what we will not stand up to any imposition.
because what mattered in solidarity is that we are all brothers. and sisters.
what mattered then was idaho itself and why it should continue.
and why we need to be there. always.
(haaaay, kaemotan sa gitna ng chova.)
